MHADA Lottery 2015 Online Applications, Eligibility Criteria, Flats & Locations

Maharashtra Housing & Area Development Authority (MHADA) has finally launched the much awaited MHADA lottery 2015 for 997 houses in Mumbai. The flats under MHADA lottery 2015 are located in multiple locations including Sion, Mulund, Mankhurd, Malad and Goregaon. The flats are being offered to Economical Weaker Section (EWS), Lower Income Group (LIG) and Medium Income Group (MIG) of the society. There are no flats for HIG category in 2015 lottery.
How to Apply?
Registrations for flats will be done through both offline & online registration modes and registration will be open from 15 April 2015 2:00PM to 14 May 2015 6:00 PM. Online applications for registered candidates will start from 21 April 2:00PM to 18 May till 6:00PM. The Demand Draft and application will be accepted from 21 April 2015 to 20 May 2015.
For offline registrations, applicants can purchase application form from the following banks mentioned in the brochure and duly filled application form will be submitted in the same bank branches with EMD via Demand Draft. The list of Bank Branches given below in important links.
The procedure of filling the application form for the MHADA Lottery 2015 is described below:
Step 1. Registration of Applicants:-

• For online registration applicants have to log on to website https://lottery.mhada.gov.in and fill the required information like USER NAME, Family Income, Passport size colored photograph, (cleanly scanned jpg image upto 50kb),PAN Card Number ( Pan card will be verified online),Date of Birth, Occupation, Marital Status, UID No. Gender, Residential Address, Mobile Number, Email ID, Bank Account Number, IFSC Code, MICR Code of the Bank branch where the Applicant has the account.

Step 2:- Filling up the Online Application Form:-

• After completing the first step, the applicant can log in to his account using the USER NAME and Password. For apply click on the link “APPLY FOR LOTTERY” and To Apply for a specific Scheme Code Click on “APPLICATION FOR RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION FORM”. For filling up the form, information like Scheme Code, Category, mode of payment etc will be required. (All the field required for filling up the application form will be available in the link “APPLICATION FOR RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION FORM. After filling up the all information, click SUBMIT and before submitting the application form recheck all the information you have filled and then click on SUBMIT and CONFIRM.
• After submission form can be printed by using PRINT Button and also can be saved as PDF.
• After taking the printout, sign it and those applicants, who want to make online payment, please go to option “MY APPLICATION” make payment and those applicants, who want to pay through D.D./P.O. submit with D.D./P.O. at respective Axis Bank Branches.

Step 3:- Process for depositing the EMD:-

• EMD can be deposited through any of the following three methods

Demand Draft (DD)/Pay Order
Debit/Credit Card
Internet Banking
If the payment is made online, the applicant will have to pay the service charges to the service provider (The information regarding service charges which will be available in the software.)

Eligibility Criteria:

• The Applicant should have completed the Age of 18 years on or before the date of filling up of the application form.
• The applicant himself and / or his or her spouse or his / her minor children shall not own a house or flat or residential plot and land or holds a residential plot on hire purchase basis or on a rental basis from MHADAor a house / flat /or residential plot of land or membership of any registered or proposed cooperative housing society in his / her name as the case may be in the jurisdiction of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM).
• The average family monthly income including Basic + D.A.+ Bonus + City Allowance of EWS Applicants should be less than Rs. 16,000/- and for lower income group(LIG) it should be in between Rs. 16,001/- to Rs. 40,000/- while for MIG it should be in between Rs. 40,001/- to Rs. 70,000/-.

Important Dates:

• Registration of applicants 15 April 2015 from 2:00PM to 14 May 2015 till 6:00PM
• Online Application for registered applicants from 21 April 2015 from 2:00PM to 18 May till 6:00PM
• Acceptance of DD & Application Forms from 21 April 2015 to 20 May 2015 (working days & hours of Bank, those who are not paying EMD online)
